New Miller Exhibit Highlights Abstract Art
Seven new works by Mau contemplate the compressed spaces and stacked rock formations of the Niagara Escarpment. Andersson’s selections from his Symphonic Series interpret the music of Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho through wildly colorful, large-scale oil paintings in which he assigns visual characteristics to musical instruments. Krause’s abstract botanical paintings, with their luscious tropical colors, modify natural debris and create arrangements that make viewers question what they see.
