Part of a thirty-something cohort of realist painters re-inventing the genre for the 21st Century, Considine presents a series of small, immaculately rendered canvases that jump around in mood and subject matter—from a prosaic image of a tiled subway mural to a sinister view of a cop leveling his gun at an unseen suspect.
