Carole King to perform Tapestry in full at British Summer Time 2016
Carole King is to perform
her iconic 1971 album Tapestry in full at this summer's British Summer Time
series of shows.
The
singer-songwriter, who will be playing her first UK show since 1989, will
headline London's Hyde Park on July 3rd this summer. She will be supported by The Eagles' Don
Henley and Louise Goffin.
Carole King joins
Florence & The Machine, Massive Attack, Take That and Mumford & Sons in
headlining this summer's British Summer Time. Massive Attack, with support from
Warpaint, Patti Smith, TV on the Radio and more, kick things off on July 1st,
before Florence, with support from Kendrick Lamar, Jamie xx and Cat Power,
headlines on July 2nd.
Mumford & Sons
top the bill on July 8th, with support from Wolf Alice and Alabama Shakes,
while Take That, with support from Olly Murs, Ella Eyre and others, headline on
July 9th.
